Our Work

Snap a receipt. It files itself.

Photograph a receipt on a trip, at the office, or at home, and Billkeeper (previously Paper Trail) reads it, translates it into English, and pins the exact shop or restaurant on a map — organised in seconds, not typed in by hand.

STEP 01

Photograph a receipt

Open the camera in Billkeeper and snap a photo of any receipt, in any language.

STEP 02

It reads and translates it

AI reads the merchant, items and total, translating them into English automatically when the original isn't.

STEP 03

It finds the place on a map

Billkeeper looks up the merchant and pins the exact shop or restaurant on a map, with the date and time attached.

STEP 04

Review, then it's saved

Check the details, confirm, and the receipt is filed to your trip or expense log, photo included.

Where to find it

Built with

  • AI vision OCR & translation

A vision-capable AI model reads each receipt photo and translates it into English in one pass, whatever language it was printed in.

  • Google Maps Places

The merchant name pulled from the receipt is looked up against Google Maps, so every entry pins the exact place it happened.

  • Supabase

Each receipt's photo and details are stored securely per account, ready to browse by trip.
